Children in grades Kindergarten-1st  grade can participate in the FIRST LEGO League Discover program.  Students will explore science, technology, engineering, and math through creative play using LEGO DUPLO bricks, thus growing their understanding of gears, motion, measurement and solving problems in a fun, engaging way.  A new challenge is presented every year and teams will use a LEGO Education Discovery Set to build a solution.  Teams share their models and ideas at a celebration event at the end of the season.

Teams are made up of 4 children, ages 4-6 and 2 adult coaches. Cost of program is $25 to participate. Time Commitment about 1 hour for 10 sessions, October to December.

This program is in conjunction with the RCS Community Library.
